Welcome to the registration page for the 2024 European Church Planting Partnership Retreat to be held from Friday, May 10, 2024, until Thursday, May 16, 2024. All participants should plan to depart North America on Thursday, May 9, 2024* in order to arrive at their first European destination on Friday, May 10.

*Note that participants visiting Ancora church in Romania will need to depart North America on Wednesday, May 8, to arrive in Romania on Thursday, May 9.

This retreat will provide time for connection and shared learning between North American participants and European church planters. The event will begin with participants joining church planting partners in various cities. Participants will spend time visiting and worshiping at church plant sites from Friday until Monday, when all participants will travel to the Emmaus Centre in the Netherlands. At the Emmaus Centre, participants will reflect on their time at the church plants and consider how what they have experienced will impact how they lead in their home contexts when they return to North America.

This registration will reserve your place at the retreat and with local church planters in Europe. As part of your registration, you will be asked to select the European church plant you will visit during the first half of the trip. Please have this conversation with the European Church Planting Partnership before completing registration. European sites include:

• Rotterdam, Netherlands
• Apeldoorn, Netherlands
• Hanover, Germany
• Debrecen, Hungary
• Vulcan, Romania
• Braga, Portugal

Registration fees cover all travel, lodging, and retreat costs, as well as most meals. Participants should plan to pay for any meals or snacks during travel to and from Europe. Any costs related to Covid-19, including testing or extended stays, are not covered by this registration and are the responsibility of the participant. The full registration fee is $2500.00.

Accommodations will include shared rooms at the Emmaus Centre, as well as in hotels in church-planting cities. If there is a reason that you need a single occupancy room, you may request one, but due to limited space, we may not be able to accommodate all requests.

If you plan to purchase airline tickets to Europe independently, you can register for European costs only. This does not include flights to/from the retreat, but DOES include travel from the European church plant sites to the Emmaus Centre, and costs $1,300.00.

Please note that your passport MUST be valid for at least six (6) months following the date of your return flight. If you are traveling on a passport issued by a country other than the United States of America, please contact ssoderstrom@rca.org or doug@europartnership.org as soon as possible to determine possible visa requirements.

As of January, 2024 there are no Covid-19 related travel restrictions for entering EU countries or returning to the United States. If these requirements change prior to the trip, we will notify all participants. Participants of RCA Global Mission trips are expected to comply with all government entry and exit requirements, as set forth by the individual country. Because of the variety of countries and the travel involved in this retreat, and the continued presence of Covid-19 worldwide, we do encourage all participants to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

• This trip may be canceled by RCA Global Mission for any reason, including but not limited to political unrest, safety concerns, or health concerns. It is our goal to ensure the health and safety of all travelers, as much as we are able. Any decision regarding trip cancellation will be communicated immediately via members of the Global Mission staff.

If the trip is canceled, payments may be returned in accordance with the cancellation policies outlined below.

• Once flights have been purchased, tickets are non-refundable. If you need to cancel, your flight will be credited to you as an e-credit in your name, to be used within 1 year.

• Any cancellations made 30 days or less prior to the event will not be refundable, as payments will have been made on your behalf at this time. If you need to cancel more than 30 days in advance, please contact our team as soon as possible.
