Rookie of the Year Nominations AWARD Guidelines: Outstanding Rookie of the Year Award: Awarded to a rookie officer who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to reduce alcohol-related death and injury. Rookie defined as an officer with less than one year of service. During the last week of March, we announce award winners. Each honoree will receive a formal invitation via email to the luncheon. All agencies MUST register their officer's information. You will need to register each officer separately.
