The Emanuel House - 2020

Welcome to Rebuilding Together Montgomery County! We're so excited to work with you!

This is the link to register for a project with RTMC at The Emanuel House. The volunteer coordinator for this project is David Montgomery. Please contact him to schedule times to volunteer.

The repairs made to this home will make it possible for young mothers and their children to have supportive and permanent housing through the National Center for Children and Families' "Young Adult Rapid Rehousing Program." NCCF has partnered with local churches - Emory Grove UMC, Mill Creek Parish UMC, and Shady Grove Presbyterian Church - to support these families during their time in the program. The work you complete with RTMC will make the home a safe, comfortable, and healthy place for the children and their mothers to live and grow.

We ask that all volunteers wear a face covering, bring water, and bring work gloves. We will have extra gloves, masks, and sanitizer available. We encourage you to bring your own tools, however the appropriate equipment for painting will be provided.

By signing up for this volunteer job, you are agreeing to the Volunteer's Agreement and Release of Liability and the Volunteer Wellness Policy Guidelines. Volunteers between the ages of 14 and 17 must download, print, and bring a completed volunteer waiver form and Volunteer Wellness Policy Agreement to the project site.

**Please note: volunteers must be 14+. Rebuilding Together Montgomery County cannot give SSL hours for students who perform work on the inside of the home. To be eligible for SSL hours, work must be completed on the exterior only.**
