TWO NEW MGCC COVID-19 GRANTS AVAILABLE

JOIN CDP FOR AN INFORMATION SESSION TO SEE IF YOUR BUSINESS IS ELIGIBLE

On February 23, 2022, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts made $75,000,000 available to support small businesses negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. These funds will be administered through two different grant programs, the New Applicant Grant Program and the Inclusive Grant Program, offered by the Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation.

The New Applicant Grant Program was created to provide $25,000,000 in support of businesses negatively impacted by COVID-19 that have not previously received financial relief from MGCC’s COVID-19 Relief Grant Programs.

The Inclusive Grant Program has $50,000,000 available to businesses that focus on reaching markets predominantly made up of socially and economically disadvantaged and historically underrepresented groups, underserved markets, and those owned by minorities, women, veterans, disabled individuals, or those that identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Applications for each grant program will be accepted now through Monday, April 4, 2022. MGCC will award grants ranging from $10,000 to $75,000 to those selected for the programs. Eligible uses of these funds include:

  • Employee payroll benefits costs
  • Interest on other debt obligations incurred after March 3, 2021
  • Cost to pivot company due to COVID-19 pandemic
  • Business mortgage or rent and utilities

The CDP is pleased to offer two information sessions, on Tuesday, March 22nd from 5:30-7:30 and Wednesday, March 23rd from 9:00-11:00 to review the eligibility criteria and answer small business owners' questions before the April 4th deadline.
