About Teach na nDaoine Family Resource Centre
The Teach na nDaoine Family Resource Centre is situated in the Mullaghmatt / Cortolvin area just outside Monaghan town. The resource centre provides family and community supports primarily to the residents of Mullaghmatt and Cortolvin, but services are also open to the wider community.
What's Involved
General supervision of 7-10 years olds & 11-14 year olds in a youthwork setting. Some assistance with homework on occasion, assisting staff where appropriate, some report writing on occasion.
The hours are 3.30pm - 5.00pm or 5.30pm - 7.00pm
What's required for this position
Good tolerance threshold with an ability to set clear boundaries with young people.
Volunteers will be Garda vetted and complete some initial Children First training.
