For the past two decades, the LAA's Latino Youth Leadership Conference (LYLC) has inspired middle and high school students from across Georgia to pursue higher education and follow their dreams. LYLC is an inspirational and high-energy experience featuring motivational speakers, workshops, a college, and opportunities to connect with college students. In 2019, the annual conference attracted close to 2,000 students, parents, and teachers to Emory University. LYLC, now in its 21st year, provides Latino students with the tools they need to access post-secondary education, develop leadership skills, and explore careers.

COVID-19 has changed our world and our approach, and we are viewing this as an opportunity to reach an even larger number of students, families and schools. This year, the Latino Youth Leadership Conference will be held virtually on October 29, followed by a college fair on October 31, 2020.
