Google for Startups Immersion

We believe that London became the Silicon Valley of Europe because of its access to funding, talent, founder experience and education. 

At the same time we recognise that there is an incredible wealth of passion, talent and opportunity in all corners of the UK.

We want to help exceptional founders and their teams connect to the ecosystem in London and tap into the opportunities here while they continue growing their businesses in their home ecosystems, create local success stories and employment.

The Google for Startups Immersion is a 12-week program designed to bring the best of Google and the London ecosystem to 10 startups from across the UK.  

What to expect?

• You will pick 3 goals / OKRs for your company to work on for the duration of the program.
• You will attend a 5-day London based academy providing business workshops, Google mentoring and networking opportunities. Travel and accommodation will be covered.
• You will be assigned a dedicated senior Google advisor to help you achieve your program OKRs.
• You will attend a 2-day graduation event designed to showcase your startup and connect you with top investors, key players and other founders. 

Who should apply?

Google is looking for 10 early growth-stage startups, fulfilling the following criteria:

• A diverse team
• Passionate, inspiring, impact-minded leaders 
• Building a scalable product or service that solves a real problem
• Demonstrating traction (active users, revenue, funding)
• Willing to give back and contribute to the local startup community
• Based in the UK outside of London

Application Window: January 13th - February 7th

Startup selection announcement: February 17th

Program duration: March 9th - June 12th

Remote Pre-work [10hrs time commitment]: March 9th - 20th

Academy in London: March 30th - April 3rd

Remote Google mentoring: April 5th - June 5th

Program graduation: June 15th - 17th  [location TBC]
