About Castleblayney Coderdojo
Coderdojo is a global movement of free, volunteer led, community based programming clubs for young people. At a Dojo young people between the ages of 7 and 17 learn to code in an informal and creative environment. It is also a wonderful opportunity to experience the possibilities of technology.
What's Involved
Help our weekly Coderdojo meetings in Castleblayney. Tasks might include:
Registration of young people
Preparing refreshments
Supervision of young people aged 7 to 17
Sessions run from 12 to 2 each Saturday during term time.
What's required for this position
No experience needed, just enthusiasm to work with children and young people
No knowledge of computers necessary for this role, our coderdojo mentor volunteers will deal with computer/technical tasks.
