Quarterly housing conversations for municipal officials & staff

The Lower Cape Peer Group is a discussion space for municipal officials and staff who are involved in housing production in the towns of Brewster, Harwich, Chatham and Orleans. The Lower Cape Peer Group is convened by the Community Development Partnership and is designed to meet your needs.

Eligible participants include current members of the following boards & committees in Brewster, Harwich, Chatham and Orleans: Select Board, Finance Committee, Planning & Zoning Board, Community Preservation Committee, Housing Trust, Housing Committee, Housing Authority, Finance Committee, Local Housing Partnership and Town staff.

During the first half of the meeting, towns will have an opportunity to share updates on their housing initiatives. For the second half of the meeting, we have invited Stefanie Coxe of Nexus Werx to provide an update on the success of Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) bylaws since the 2019 Annual Town Meeting cycle. She will also facilitate a discussion comparing bylaws across towns. Light refreshments will be provided.
