Have you thought about conserving your land, but aren’t quite sure what that entails?
Attend this FREE online workshop to learn how protecting your land can help you save on your taxes and, in some cases, earn income.
Anne Arundel County landowners are invited to join Scenic Rivers Land Trust for our online Land Conservation 101 Workshop.
From the comfort of your home, you will learn how conserving your land can:
Scenic Rivers staff will teach you the basics of conservation easements, suggest options specific to your property, and provide answers to your questions. Topics will include eligibility criteria, financial benefits, standard conservation easement terms, programs, processes, and timelines.
Plus, learn about local, state, and federal grant programs that can provide thousands of dollars per acre to encourage easements on forested or agricultural land. In recent years, Scenic Rivers has helped landowners with over $2 million in grant awards to protect their land.
This workshop is geared toward landowners with 10 acres or more.
The workshop is FREE, but registration is required by July 22, 2020.
The online meeting link will be sent to you via email on the morning of the event. You must register to receive the meeting link.
