Welcome to registration for the Children and Worship Basic Training to be held at Third Reformed Church, 111 W 13th Street, Holland, Michigan, on May 31 and June 1, 2019.

Session one will be held on Friday, May 31, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Session two will be held on Saturday, June 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Both sessions are required in order to obtain the entire scope of training and to receive a certificate. Each session covers different content. This registration will reserve a place for you at both sessions.

Pastors, directors of Christian education, children and worship leaders, and anyone who works with children are all encouraged to attend.

Please bring a sack supper for Friday and a sack lunch on Saturday. The registration cost does not include meals or books. Participants will also need to obtain a copy of the book Young Children and Worship by Sonja Stewart and Jerome Berryman before the training session. You will receive information about how to order the book in your confirmation email.

During registration, you will be asked to provide the name of your church. Please include the name, city, and state of your church. One pastor per registered congregation is encouraged to attend; that pastor’s registration is free. For other attendees, the fee is $120, which includes a $25 non-refundable registration fee.

Accommodations/special needs:

During registration you will have the opportunity to describe any accommodations you may need or special needs you might have, including but not limited to hearing impairments, sight impairments, mobility impairments, and medically necessary dietary restrictions. If notified in advance, we will do our best to follow up with you so we can accommodate your needs.
